Hello, my name is Jenny Sluder. I am an Elementary Education Major at Appalachian State University, hoping to one day teach first or second grade. It has always been my dream to become a teacher; to inspire, to lead, to educate, and to somehow make the world a brighter place for my students.
About the lesson:
This lesson was created to incorporate both language arts and visuals arts into a second grade classroom. The video will help students to see the story from a different perspective to encourage literary curiosity, and to see how things look different from another's eyes, to expand the child's artistic creativity. The interactive presentation (prezi) will define and give examples of what make up fairy tales. It will also show many different pictures of Jack and the Beanstalk, to promote the student to think about how they picture the story's people and places.
Teacher's Notes will be marked in red
